Reports on the casualties vary across sources. One report said that 10 people died [1], while other reports list the death toll as eight [2] or seven [3]. Initial reports indicated that 22 workers were trapped in the tunnel [3].
Rescue teams managed to save 12 workers from the debris [3]. Following those rescues, reports differed on the number of people remaining missing, with estimates ranging from two [2] to three [3]. Additional reports noted that 12 workers were injured [1].
The operation concluded with the recovery of the last missing worker. The recovery marks the end of the search and rescue phase at the site.
