German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul said the Bundeswehr will defend every centimetre of NATO territory during an appearance in Berlin.

Wadephul spoke Wednesday [1] at the German-Polish Forum in Berlin. During an interview with DW News, he said the German military is prepared to uphold the alliance's territorial integrity regardless of the location of a potential conflict.

"Security in Europe is possible only in opposition to Russia," Wadephul said.
