SpaceX will build a $100 billion [3] Starship launch site in southern Louisiana, according to an announcement made Tuesday.
The project represents a massive expansion of U.S. space infrastructure. By establishing a dedicated spaceport for Starship, SpaceX aims to support thousands of flights per year [7] to increase its orbital launch capability.
