Germany opened a new drone security research centre in Saxony-Anhalt on Tuesday to develop technology that detects and counters unauthorized drones.

Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt and the federal government inaugurated the site, which is referred to as either the Drone Security Centre or the Drone Safety Technology Center [1, 2].
