Japan Airlines has unveiled a special-livery Boeing 737-800 [5] called the “JAL Jubilee Express” to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Tokyo DisneySea.

The partnership between Japan Airlines and Oriental Land Co. leverages the airline's domestic network to promote the park's upcoming “Sparkling Jubilee” celebration. This collaboration aims to drive tourism to the resort ahead of its official anniversary milestone in September 2026 [4].

The aircraft, which measures 39.5 meters in length [1], features a custom exterior painted with DisneySea 25th-anniversary motifs. The themed elements extend beyond the fuselage to include specialized interior décor for passengers.

Scheduled service for the JAL Jubilee Express begins June 4, 2026, at 8:00 JST [2]. The inaugural flight will depart from Tokyo’s Haneda Airport and travel to Kumamoto [3].

Following the first flight, the aircraft will operate on various domestic routes across Japan. Planned destinations include Osaka, Hokkaido, and Fukuoka, among other Japanese cities [3].

Japan Airlines said the themed aircraft will remain in operation on these domestic routes until around April 2027 [3].

The “JAL Jubilee Express” Boeing 737-800 will operate domestic routes through April 2027.

This partnership reflects a strategic marketing effort to integrate transport and leisure experiences, utilizing a high-visibility asset to build anticipation for Tokyo DisneySea's milestone. By deploying the aircraft across multiple domestic hubs, JAL and Oriental Land Co. are targeting a broad national audience to maximize attendance for the September 2026 anniversary events.
