Union Home Minister Amit Shah (BJP) said the party's expansion across Eastern India fulfills Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 2014 [1] vision of balanced development.
This political push targets the regions of Ang, Bang, Kaling, and Assam to align the development of Eastern India with that of the West. The strategy focuses on bringing security and economic change to these specific regions to create a more equitable national growth pattern.
Shah said the BJP will win the West Bengal assembly elections. He said voters showed immense enthusiasm for change during the first phase of the assembly elections.
As part of the party's platform for West Bengal, Shah made a specific pledge regarding border security. He said the party will drive out infiltrators from Bengal and seal its borders if the BJP forms the government.
Shah said the party's rise in the East is a fulfillment of the 2014 [1] objective to bridge the gap between the two sides of the country. He said this movement is intended to bring a new era of development and security to the region.
The Home Minister's comments emphasize a strategy of combining regional development goals with strict national security measures, specifically targeting illegal immigration, to appeal to the electorate in West Bengal and neighboring states.
“The BJP's rise across Eastern India marks the fulfilment of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 2014 vision of balanced development”
The rhetoric signals the BJP's intent to integrate Eastern India more deeply into its national economic framework while using border security and anti-infiltration measures as a primary political lever to displace the current administration in West Bengal.
