Editorial standards
Sourcing
Every numerical claim and direct quote carries a bracketed citation marker that resolves to a source publisher at the bottom of the article.
Confidence threshold
Stories only advance past the fact-checker when confidence reaches 40/100. Stories with confidence below that are killed, not parked.
Sensitive topics
Any story involving minors as victims, leaked private communications, medical advice beyond official guidance, first-person financial predictions, or active investigations is escalated to a human editor before publication.
Style
- AP style by default.
- Only "said" as an attribution verb.
- No corporate euphemisms — "fired" not "let go".
- No click-bait headlines.
- Every article ends with a clearly-labelled analytical closer.
