Patra said the BJP is seeking a full breakdown of the spending to determine how the trips were funded. The party specifically questioned undisclosed visits, including a trip to Oman, as part of their demand for transparency.
The BJP said the discrepancy suggests that the funding for these trips may have come from sources not listed in Gandhi's public income declarations. The party called for an explanation regarding the origin of the funds used to cover the alleged Rs 60 crore [3] in expenses.
