Delhi CM Rekha Gupta Launches Real-Time Project Monitoring Model

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced a new e-governance model on Monday to monitor government projects in real time via the Pragati portal ^[1].

The initiative aims to increase transparency and speed up the delivery of public services by removing administrative bottlenecks. By shifting to a digital tracking system, the administration intends to hold officials accountable for delays in project completion.

"We will monitor all projects in real time through the Pragati portal and ensure they are executed within stipulated timelines," Gupta said ^[1].

Beyond the digital framework, the Chief Minister focused on the direct resolution of citizen complaints. During a separate engagement with residents in Shalimar Bagh, she addressed local concerns regarding infrastructure, and public services ^[2].

"I assure the people of Shalimar Bagh that their grievances will be addressed swiftly," Gupta said ^[2].

The push for time-bound execution is part of a broader effort to modernize the city's administrative machinery. The government is prioritizing the integration of digital tools to reduce the gap between policy announcement and actual implementation on the ground ^[1].
