EBG Group has launched the Vajram Electric manufacturing and distribution hub in Hyderabad, India.
The facility represents a strategic move to centralize the company's logistics and production capabilities. By consolidating operations, the group aims to strengthen its domestic manufacturing footprint and streamline the supply chain for its diverse portfolio.
The project involved an initial investment of ₹25 crore [1]. This capital was used to establish the hub as a central point for manufacturing and distribution across 11 different business verticals. The integration of these sectors into a single hub is intended to improve operational efficiency and reduce the overhead associated with fragmented production sites.
Beyond industrial capacity, the opening of the Vajram Electric hub is expected to have a significant impact on the local labor market. The company said that the facility will create over 450 jobs [2]. These roles span various levels of production and logistics management within the Hyderabad region.
This expansion aligns with broader efforts to increase domestic production within the Indian electric vehicle and electronics sectors. By investing in localized manufacturing, EBG Group reduces reliance on external supply chains and positions itself to scale more rapidly within the regional market. The hub will serve as the primary engine for the group's distribution strategy, ensuring that products from all 11 verticals reach consumers with greater speed and reliability.
