ISRO Chairman Dr. V. Narayanan said the successful launch of Skyroot Aerospace's Vikram-1 rocket was a historic milestone for India's private space sector.

The achievement marks the first time a privately developed orbital-class rocket from India has reached orbit. This success demonstrates the operational impact of the country's 2020 space-sector reforms and the efficacy of public-private collaboration in aerospace technology.
