LS MnM and its employees planted 300 "Bee-meal" plants at Seoul Children’s Grand Park on Thursday [1].

The initiative targets the reduction of carbon emissions and the restoration of urban green ecosystems to benefit future generations. By focusing on specific flora that support pollinators, the company aims to create a sustainable environmental footprint within the city's industrial landscape.

This event marked the eighth edition of the company's "Greener Campaign" [2]. The planting took place at the site designated as Secret Garden No. 1 inside the park [1]. The campaign is part of a broader corporate effort to integrate ecological health with urban development, a strategy intended to mitigate the heat island effect and improve air quality in the capital.

CEO Gu Dong-hwi participated in the planting alongside company staff. He said the importance of consistent environmental action regardless of the scale of the project is key.

"It is a small practice, but we will continue activities for the urban green ecosystem and future generations," Gu said [1].

The use of "Bee-meal" plants is specifically designed to provide necessary resources for bees and other pollinators, which are critical for maintaining biodiversity in urban settings. The company intends to maintain these green spaces as a permanent contribution to the city's ecological infrastructure [1].

The recurring nature of the Greener Campaign suggests that LS MnM is shifting toward a long-term corporate social responsibility model focused on urban biodiversity. By targeting pollinator-friendly plants in a public space, the company is attempting to align its industrial brand with environmental stewardship and public health goals in Seoul.
