Actor Mahershala Ali said he has moved on from playing the title character in Marvel Studios' long-delayed Blade reboot.

Ali addressed the status of the film in a series of media interviews this month. He said that the project would have happened if the studio had a genuine desire to produce it. "If Marvel wanted to do it, we would’ve done it," Ali said [1].

"Again, you had me under contract, they have billions of dollars, if they wanted to do the movie, we would've done the movie," Ali said [2].
