Congress MP Pawan Khera demanded an apology from Prime Minister Narendra Modi after Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigned from his post.

Khera also questioned the silence of Prime Minister Modi regarding the recurring issue of exam paper leaks. He said the Prime Minister's lack of public address on the matter over a 12-year period reflects a disregard for the youth's struggles.
The MP said the protests were a direct response to the government's handling of student grievances. He said the resignation of Pradhan was the only possible outcome after the youth forced the issue through public demonstrations.
