Pearl Studio and CMC Pictures announced the global summer release of the animated comedy feature "All Wishes Come True!"
The rollout represents a strategic effort to expand a Chinese animated franchise into international markets. By targeting multiple continents in a short window, the studios aim to continue the global expansion of Chinese animation.
The film will make its debut in China on July 24, 2026 [1]. Following the domestic launch, the movie will move into the Oceania region, premiering in Australia, New Zealand, and Papua New Guinea on Aug. 13, 2026 [2].
One day later, the film arrives in several major Western markets. The U.S., Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and the Netherlands are all scheduled for an Aug. 14, 2026 release [2].
Beyond these primary dates, the distribution plan includes roll-outs in Belgium and Luxembourg [1]. This wide release strategy leverages the reputation of Pearl Studio, which previously worked on Kung Fu Panda 3, to attract global audiences to original Chinese intellectual property.
Pearl Studio and CMC Pictures are coordinating the launch to ensure the film reaches a diverse audience across different time zones, a move designed to maximize the feature's visibility during the summer movie season.
“The rollout represents a strategic effort to expand a Chinese animated franchise into international markets.”
The aggressive global rollout of 'All Wishes Come True!' signals a shift in how Chinese animation studios approach the international market. Rather than relying solely on domestic success or limited festival runs, Pearl Studio is employing a coordinated, multi-region release strategy similar to major Hollywood studios. This indicates a growing confidence in the exportability of Chinese-produced animated content to Western audiences.
