Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann (AAP) has rejected allegations from opposition parties that exam papers were leaked in the state.

The dispute centers on the integrity of the state's examination process and the potential resignation of Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains. Opposition parties, including the BJP, Congress, and Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), have sought to pressure the AAP government over these claims.

Mann said that not a single paper has been leaked during the government's 4.5-year tenure [1]. He addressed a recent incident involving a pharmacy officer exam, which he described as a cheating attempt rather than a systemic leak of materials.

To support his position, the Chief Minister highlighted the administration's employment record. Mann said, "We have provided over 68,000 government jobs on merit" [1]. This figure of more than 68,000 positions is intended to demonstrate the government's commitment to a fair selection process [1].

Beyond the exam controversy, Mann has faced other challenges from the opposition. In a separate instance regarding an objectionable video, Mann said, "Some actor is copying me," while rejecting allegations related to the footage.

The BJP and other opposing parties have continued to target the administration, suggesting that the alleged leaks warrant the immediate removal of Minister Bains. However, Mann said that the opposition parties are acting together to target the AAP government rather than addressing verified facts.
