Resideo Technologies, Inc. reported record second-quarter revenue of $1.98 billion [1] during its earnings conference call on Aug. 12.
These results mark a pivotal transition for the company as it shifts to a stand-alone entity following the strategic separation of its distribution arm.
The company reported a two percent year-over-year increase in revenue [2]. Adjusted EBITDA reached $249 million [3], representing a 19 percent increase compared to the previous year [4]. Adjusted earnings per share rose to $0.83 [5], up from $0.66 in the same quarter a year earlier [6].
"Hello, everyone. Thank you for joining us, and welcome to the Resideo Second Quarter 2026 Earnings Conference Call," said Chris Lee, global head of strategic finance.
The financial reporting follows a major structural change for the firm. A company spokesperson said the Resideo team completed the ADI Global Distribution spin-off on Aug. 3.
Looking ahead, Resideo provided guidance for the next quarter with projected revenue of $717 million [7]. For the full 2026 fiscal year, the company anticipates stand-alone revenue between $2.9 billion and $2.95 billion [8] following the completion of the ADI spin-off.
The company used the virtual conference call to highlight its record revenue and EBITDA while outlining its operational outlook as a streamlined organization.
“Resideo reported record second-quarter revenue of $1.98 billion.”
The completion of the ADI Global Distribution spin-off transforms Resideo from a diversified distribution and technology conglomerate into a focused stand-alone entity. While revenue growth remains modest at two percent, the significant jump in adjusted EBITDA suggests the company is successfully improving its operational efficiency and profit margins as it narrows its corporate scope.
