A massive fire broke out at a foam-plastic manufacturing plant in the Rivne region of Ukraine earlier this week.
The incident created hazardous air conditions for local residents, as the combustion of plastic materials released thick, toxic smoke into the atmosphere.
Explosions at the production facility triggered the blaze, which subsequently spread to nearby warehouses and patches of dry grass [1].
