Following the recount, the commission announced that Jeong Jong-hyeok received 26,727 votes [1]. People Power Party candidate Ahn Gye-il received 26,643 votes [1].
The final margin of victory was 84 votes [1]. This is a negligible shift from the original margin of 85 votes recorded after the election on June 3 [2].
"It has been confirmed that there is no change in the outcome," the Gyeonggi Provincial Election Commission said [1].
