Sony Interactive Entertainment announced three new hardware accessories for PlayStation and PC, including a wireless fight stick and a gaming monitor.
This expansion of first-party hardware represents a strategic move to capture more of the premium gaming peripheral market. By offering specialized tools for fighting games and integrated display solutions, Sony aims to deepen the ecosystem for PS5 and PC users.
The FlexStrike wireless fight stick is priced at $299 [1]. It is scheduled to launch on Aug. 6, 2026 [4]. This device targets the competitive fighting game community by providing a dedicated, wireless input method.
Sony also unveiled a 27-inch Gaming Monitor priced at $350 [2]. The display features a built-in charging hook for the DualSense controller to reduce desk clutter. This monitor is slated for release on Aug. 27, 2026 [5].
Rounding out the announcement are the Pulse Elevate wireless speakers. While a specific price has not yet been disclosed [3], the speakers are expected to release later in 2026 [6].
The products were announced at Sony headquarters and will ship worldwide. The company is positioning these items as premium additions to its existing hardware lineup, focusing on versatility across both console and computer platforms.

Sony's move into specialized peripherals like fight sticks and monitors suggests a shift toward capturing the 'prosumer' segment of the gaming market. By integrating hardware features, such as the monitor's charging hook, Sony is attempting to create a seamless, proprietary environment that encourages users to stay within the PlayStation ecosystem for all their hardware needs.
