K-pop veteran Tiffany Young announced the release of her debut solo studio album, “Edge of Calm,” and a corresponding tour across Asia.
The move marks a significant solo transition for the Los Angeles-born artist, who previously gained global prominence as a member of the group Girls’ Generation.
The album is scheduled for worldwide release on Aug. 20, 2026 [1], through Pacific Records, the flagship label of Pacific Music Group [5]. The project consists of 11 tracks [4]. Young said the record is a personal exploration of her own identity and growth.
“This album is a journey of self‑understanding, with songs that emerged from sitting with the questions I still don’t have answers to,” Young said.
Following the album launch, Young will embark on the “Edge of Calm Tour,” which will visit eight cities [3]. The tour is scheduled to begin on Sept. 12, 2026 [2], with the opening performance taking place in Hong Kong [3].
“I’m so excited to share ‘Edge of Calm’ with fans around the world and to bring the music to the stage in Asia,” Young said.
Regarding the tour's start, Young said, “The Edge of Calm Tour will kick off in Hong Kong on September 12, and we can’t wait to connect with fans in each city.”
Young's transition to a solo career under Pacific Records follows her established history in the K-pop industry, where she developed a reputation for strong vocal performance and songwriting. The eight-city tour is designed to re-establish her presence in the Asian market as a standalone artist.
““This album is a journey of self‑understanding, with songs that emerged from sitting with the questions I still don’t have answers to.””
This solo venture represents a strategic pivot for Tiffany Young, moving from the collective identity of a major K-pop group to an individual brand. By launching a debut studio album and an eight-city tour simultaneously, she is leveraging her existing fanbase to establish a sustainable solo career in the competitive Asian music market.
