Meteorologists expect typical summer high-pressure conditions. A cold air mass moving in from the west is expected to keep most of the country dry, though eastern and southern regions will remain hotter [1, 3]. In those southern and eastern areas, temperatures are projected to reach 30-31°C [1].

Other regions will see more moderate conditions. In the Dnipro region, the daytime high is expected to be 27°C with overnight lows of 20°C [7, 8]. Further west, the Rivne regional meteorological service said temperatures will remain moderate between 21°C and 24°C without precipitation across the entire region [2].

Northern areas may see different results. While some forecasts suggest a slight chance of light rain in the north [1], the Ukrhydrometeorological Center said a nationwide range from 10°C at night to 26°C during the day, noting that rain will occur in some places [3].

In the Chernivtsi region, the regional center of hydrometeorology said winds will be north-westerly at seven to 12 m/s [6]. Night temperatures in that area will range from nine to 14°C, dropping to five°C in the mountains [5].

This regional variance highlights the impact of the incoming western air mass, which is pushing cooler air into the west while the east maintains its summer heat.
